So here I am needing to move in a hurry, and the previous company that I hired couldn't uphold the agreement. They started adding hidden fees for things that had already been discussed. I went to the BBB website and found Allstar Metro Movers. After reading some reviews online and finally calling them I was feeling very optimistic. Because my move is someone complicated (large home with lots of furniture and multi level) I requested someone come out and give me a quote in person so there wouldn't be any confusion. My belongings were moved in a timely and professional manner, and in less time than I was quoted. I would recommend Allstar Metro Movers to anyone who needs their move done right, and worry free. Thanks!

Run don't walk from this mover.

The driver called me ask where I was. He couldn't hear me but I could him. His words answer the freaking phone already. I called him back and told him he never apologized.
They arrive worked promptly. But couldn't seem to stay organized. Ahead of time I had everything ready to go. Rugs rolled furniture separated that was going to another destination etc. the driver was grumpy from the start I don't think he knew what a smile meant. The one day I move we had a horrible monsoon. When it came time to leave he said I will have to follow you I don't know where I am going up here. By that I am assuming he meant Scottsdale.
Upon arrival at the new house it was raining. After me going through a horrible experience he slaps another paper in front of me and says sign this. I ask what was it we ain't responsible for rain. Omg!!!
I knew they were tired my job was too much for two skinny guys one in his mature years and a younger guy. The owner of this company should have made my move first instead of 1:30 pm.
As soon as they start unloading the driver started using profanity. He was rude to me and his partner. They scratched my brand new hardwood floor twice and dinged my freshly painted walls. They were in such a hurry that the bed to the sofa bed fell out and they couldn't get it back together. That finally got resolved by two more movers showing up and it finally ended up in the garage.
I am have always been friendly and helpful to anyone. Especially movers. I have moved 15 times over the last ten years all long distance. This was a local move.
In my opinion they were in over their
heads.
Through out the process the driver yelled at his partner used profanity something I have never experienced with a move.
Close to the end the driver Larry comes up with papers to sign and pay. I said I am not paying until you put the sofa back and the floors are fixed. He said you have to pay regardless and I said I will. After his help came and he called his office for me to send the damaged photos I paid.
This by far was the worst move I have ever experienced. I doubt very seriously I will ever get my floor fixed or my walls repaired.
I spoke with Doug several times prior to this move he sounded very qualified and professional but frankly I think his company stinks and I would never refer them

We are sorry to hear that you were not pleased with the moving service. We apologize for any offensive comments that the lead mover directed toward the helper. Unfortunately, the quantity of items that was submitted to us was grossly underestimated and that coupled with the inclement weather obviously caused the lead mover some undue stress. However, that is no excuse for not being congenial. Concerning the mover asking to follow you to your drop-off location, as you know, the Troon area streets are not easy to navigate with all of the dead end and curving roads. We are sorry if you perceived him asking to follow you as an imposition. The document that you were asked to sign is an inclement weather release. Obviously we are unable to control the weather. The movers took care to cover and move your items without any reported water damage. Relative to the hide-a-bed sofa, as you may or may not know, there are many manufacturers of such sofas and each uses different latching and scissor mechanisms. Most of our customers insure that the fold out mechanism is secured per the manufacturer instructions prior to arrival of the moving crew. As you know, we did send another mover from Phoenix to assist in releasing the mechanism for you. The hide-a-bed was placed in your garage because it would not physically fit through the doorway of the room that you wished it to be placed in. We are sorry for the two quarter sized scuff marks on your walls. It is difficult to move extra-large furniture items and make certain turns without touching a wall occasionally. From the photos you submitted it appears that very minor touch up painting is required. Concerning the floor scratches, as you are aware, our customer service manager did contact you this morning as was promised by the moving crew. You will be reimbursed pursuant to the provisions of the confirmation documents that you received prior to moving service and the moving service agreement. I would like to point out that our moving vehicle which holds 1,875 cubic feet of cargo was completely full and it was loaded, transported and unloaded in 5 1/2 hours with a 20 minute drive between the pick-up and drop-off locations. As you are aware, we deducted 1/2 hour of billing due to the delay in the movers being able to initially close the hide-a-bed. Again, we are sorry that you were not pleased with the service and we hope that you enjoy your new dwelling.

The experience from start to finish was top notch. Very professional office staff and moving men. They were extremely efficient, fast and careful and very pleasant despite the 115 degree temperature. The pricing was lower than other companies we contacted. We would use Allstar again and recommend them highly.
