Nelson movers arrived on time and for the first 2/3 of the job 'appeared' to do well. (I found out later that they ran my card for $200 more than the four hours minimum work time, before the work even began) What I also didn't know is that, early on, they broke a valuable piece of furniture and 'hid' the pieces behind some boxes. The shelf was broke because they put it on its side and piled hundreds of pounds of books on it...clearly negligent. Later, they began to move so slowly, laughing and resting and watching each other work, so that they stretched the time to the amount they charged my card when they first got there. THEN they charged me $50 for their lunch break (a responsibility for the employer, not the person who hires labor by the hour, as I did), then they charged me $100 for 'driving time' when I had supplied my own u-haul and had a specific agreement for LABOUR ONLY. It didn't end there. The hostility, the bullying, the abusive exchanges as I tried to right these wrongs were appalling. I asked for an apology letter for the damaged shelf and a refund for the $150 overcharge. They refunded $100, and said go to hell for the rest. I am suing them for damages and would never recommend their services to anyone. Dishonest is an understatement. Abusers is more accurate.
