I wish it were possible to give a negative star because these guys truly are not even worth the 1 star rating! (Might see them under new name Professional Movers Of Denver; per their Website attached to google). We hired them to not only move us but do 100% of our packing. Eric the salesman worked with Matt the owner in preparing the contract and they both felt confident in the quote they provided. When Elaine and her crew came out to pack, not only were they late but they did not come prepared with the supplies they needed. We were quoted a day of packing but reality was it took them over 2 and a half days with 4 people packing and they still weren't done. They had ran out of boxes and now move day was upon them and still weren't done so they packed the remainder of our items into trash bags and personal property of ours; including a shred it container (which was unpacked and broken beyond repair)! Maybe it had to do with the numerous margarita and wine cooler bottles we found laying around the house; later to find out not only were they drinking on the job but the alcohol was taken directly out of our fridge! The day of moving was an even bigger nightmare! First off not enough trucks, we had to use our personal car trailer to load the remainder of our stuff. When the trucks arrived to our new home, the guys were tired since the loading was way under quoted and took them over half the day. Tired movers calls for disaster! I was in shock as they were pulling out large furniture from the truck, they had not blanketed or bubbled wrapped the majority of it. This would include our mattresses, (which later while unpacking I would find the mattress pad covers they provided packed with my personal belongings). By the time the night was done, we were left with a HUGE mess! Boxes were not delivered into the appropriate rooms but instead just dropped anywhere; even upside down or onto other boxes marked fragile. Towards the end of the evening we lost a couple of the movers as a heated argument between them and the owner Matt took place in front of me and my 2 small children. Even more disturbing was the fact that the furniture they had disassembled was not put back together but was left for us to do; including not only our beds but my sons crib! It was obvious this should have been quoted as a 2 day job with more trucks!!! As we started to unpack we would find kitchen stuff packed in with bedroom stuff, etc...the disorganized packing took us weeks to get through. After everything was finally put back together and unpacked we then started to document all the damages, including taking pictures and completing an itemized list with description and cost that Elaine had provided to us so they could start the insurance claim process. Over $17,000 in damages; several items damaged beyond repair including; a large TV; and we are still at square one ( now 4 months later). Come to find out the insurance they carry through Auto Owners Insurance is only good for damages while in transit if truck was in an accident or a fire occurred. According to the owner Matt this is the only insurance they have. When Matt last spoke with my husband he told him that they were closing their doors and going out of business, basically, good luck getting any kind of compensation for the thousands of dollars they have damaged. I continually try to call Matt the owner and leave messages, of course no call back! I see they are still operating and open according to the web. It saddens me to see all the negative reviews they continue to receive and are getting away with it! They are truly shady and need to be investigated! I will now turn them into the BBB and probably have to hire a lawyer! Good luck to you in your search, but buyer be ware... Do not use these guys unless you want this nightmare to happen to you!

Ideal Moving & Storage Reviews - 5
Ideal Moving & Storage showed up on time and was very professional! They only took 3 hours to move my 2 bedroom duplex across town. I was very impressed with how quickly they moved. Nothing was broken, and I was relieved that they were professional and reliable. I will definitely use them again1
I purchased a groupon good for 2 hours of moving services including a truck with this company. We scheduled the move for the 2-4pm timeslot on 8/21/15 which was confirmed by voicemail on 8/20/15. No one showed up at our apartment until 9pm on 8/21/15 and communication regarding the delays left much to be desired.
The movers while nice and efficient still asked for a tip despite being 5 hours late to the job. They also did not understand the groupon deal and charged us an additional 79$ that we never should have been charged. I had to call 3 times before the money was refunded.
The "reservation fee" they charge also came as a surprise to me as my understanding from the person I booked the move with was we would only be charged the fee if we cancelled the move.
The communication from this company has been terrible and of the many times I have called no one has apologized to me for all the issues which I think would be pretty standard when someone has a bad experience with your services.
I will never use this company again nor will I refer their services to anyone else.
To say I am frustrated with this company would be an extreme understatement. First the movers were late to both pick up our furniture as well as delivery (55 minutes late to pick up furniture and 95 minutes late delivering the furniture the following day).
Second it seems that since they kept our furniture over night the truck with our furniture was double booked with other furniture resulting in lost and damaged items for us. Also as a result of being double booked, it took the movers a good 30 minutes (after being over 90 minutes late) to unload someone elses items before they could even begin to unload our stuff. And to say the other persons items were carefully loaded onto the truck would be a huge lie. The other families items were thrown into the truck ontop of our things causing all the damage!!!
Finally it has been 6 weeks since our move and we are still trying to get the furniture repair person out to our house to fix the damaged furniture. We have now passed our second missed scheduled appointment to have our furniture fixed. In both cases we did not receive a phone call, text, or email even explaining why no one bothered to show up at the scheduled time. Instead I have to call and inquire as to what happened only to be given excuses about a new staff or other lame excuses.
At this point I simply want results and not excuses.
- Large documented shortchange of customer's cash payment by moving crew, seemingly in attempt to secure their "tip" at close of transaction.
- Was asked if I "had a husband" followed by "do you want a boy toy"
- Low quote was followed by slow down of work by crew to extend labor hours charged.
- Was told by owner at conclusion of transaction "this is my best crew."
- Owner got angry when I expressed my concern for workmanship performance. I question if it was the owner. I question everything about this business, due to crew behavior and owner's response. Very uncomfortable, bad feeling about the entire operation.

We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience with our company. We assure you the movers were not trying to shortchange the company in order to secure a tip. The typical service industry standard does apply to movers, which is tips are not required but are appreciated. We respect the fact you choose not to tip but please don't insinuate the guys are thefts. We did apologize repeatedly for the employee of ours who got out of line verbally with you. We are not sure why he felt comfortable to engage in conversations like that with you. Consequently, he was relieved of his employment here with us immediately upon arriving back at the shop after our conversation. When booking the move May requested 6 guys with one truck because she knew how difficult her third floor move was going to be. We agreed the most cost effective would be a 3 man crew. When moving from a third floor with no elevator, tricky catwalks, and a lot of stairs its inevitably going to take some time. I can assure you our crew did not slow down to extend hours, they were experiencing a bit of natural fatigue. We don't consider any of our crews "The Best Crew", we make sure all our guys are adequate and certified. As a company we do not accept checks, because of your situation with losing your job, husband leaving you and losing your apartment we as a company agreed to take a check from you. Also attempting to make up for any inadequacies you might experienced we allowed you to post date the check for almost a week. When the week came around you asked if you could replace the check with cash, we agreed. I informed you that the gentleman who made inappropriate comments to you was let go and we wanted to extend a 100$ discount to you. Upon meeting to make the exchange I allowed you to express your concerns and experience for the 3rd or 4th time, at which point I apologized and told you to have a great day. I will not apologize for refusing to continue sitting around listening to you bash and degrade our company.
