Do not recommendby Felix A.

Our scheduled move was to start at 9:30 am on June 26, 2015, the movers arrived at our home 1 ½ hours late. There were a couple of items that were not listed on the move that were requested and the movers didn’t have the correct moving truck to move a riding mower and the job was estimated to be 6 hours, which we believe to be accurate because we only had 1 bedroom set, 1 small sofa (which took over an hour for the movers to get from inside the house to the truck), 1 small dinette set with four chairs, 1 small bar stool set with two bar stool chairs, and approximately around 50 boxes. We were told that anything over the 6 hours would be charged as overtime of $180.00 an hour. The men started to slow down after 3 hours of working and continually moving slow for the remaining parts of the day. After 20 minutes of noticing no activity of any of the three movers, I walked to the back of the truck to find 1 mover sitting down and the other 2 having a conversation. They took a little over 7 hours to load the truck. We didn’t panic regarding the hours because the majority of the move was going directly into the garage upon unpacking the truck. Again they took many smoking cigarettes breaks and talking on our overtime. During the move, they broke our office desk which at this point they are still avoiding our emails regarding reimbursement for the desk which Eric and Victor told us they would be reimbursing us for (we provided them pictures of broken desk as well as the website, and item number from office depot were we purchased the desk). We provided all 3 movers with water, lunch, dinner, coffee and cake during the day. They started to assemble one item, then moved on to another, with constantly having to go back to the previous item to finish assembling. Organization was terrible. They started to assemble the bedroom set and it was around 10 pm at night, and we asked them to finish assembling the bedroom furniture so that my wife can rest. Once requesting that the bedroom be finished, Justin, made a comment to the other 2 men in the bedroom with my wife present, that there was some sort of urgency to get the bedroom finished and made a confused looking face to the other men (again its 10 pm at night, yes there is an urgency cause this move is going on its 12th hour). Justin was complaining and blaming me for him loosing the 4 screws for the assembly of the bedroom set mirror/dresser. Almost an hour later he came upstairs with the exact screws that were needed to assemble the mirror to the dresser. He was convinced that I lost them. We were so desperate that me and my wife started to unload their truck and put items in the proper room. Also to add to all of this, they didn’t have enough room on the truck to take the refrigerator which was itemized on the move list (it is now somewhere around 10:45 pm at night). So when they were done unloading the truck he came upstairs to complete the bill and started calculating the hours which totaled 12 hours, which should have been around 6-7 hours for the entire move. To sum up this entire experience when I say we were scammed, Two Men and A Truck lured us in with a low move bid at a 6 hr move, and stuck us with 12 hr move bill. Like I mentioned earlier they are avoiding our emails regarding reimbursement of the desk so I will have no choice but to contact the BBB and file a complaint. I will never use Two Men and A Truck again, nor will I recommend to friends or family.

All in all very professional, stayed within estimate, helped with packing suggestions, did not try to overcharge. 3 men very polite, even picked up a pile of coins that fell onto icy driveway on a... Read more
