My move with Two Men and a Truck started out on the right foot, but unfortunately they did a fair amount of damage to my house, so I can't say the move went well.
On the plus side, they were very professional on the phone, and the crew they sent was early, professional, and very nice. I needed to move a couple heavy couches from my 2nd floor and attic to my garage, and a bunch of smaller stuff from my basement out to my garage. The crew showed up early, and got right to work. Throughout the move, they were polite, respectful, and kept a nice attitude even though things went awry.
On the negative side, they didn't completely cover the carpet with plastic, and didn't completely cover the hardwoods on the first floor so things got a bit messy. They broke 1 window when moving a couch, put a ~6 inch hole in one wall when carrying another, and ripped a baby gate out of the wall as well. The younger of the two guys didn't seem to have much experience, which probably led to the damage.
Despite the damage, the crew handled it well. They documented everything, made sure I saw that they documented, and walked me through how the office would contact me to get things fixed. Overall, I felt that the company was professional, and is a quality company.
UPDATE - Two Men had a fantastic follow up process, and made everything right. They had a contractor estimate the cost to fix the drywall issues, and paid me within a few days after we agreed on the amount. They also had a window company call right away to schedule the window fix. Despite the challenges on move day, their actions after demonstrate they will do the right thing and really care about their customers. Thumbs up to their response.
