The packers stole items that cannot be replaced. The company doesn't care. Don't use this company! They are dishonest, criminal and unprofessional! On top of the theft there was extensive damage to our property. The company refuses responsibility. This will certainly continue to happen to other people if the word doesn't get out.

University Moving and Storage Reviews - 3
The movers showed up right on time and they were great! They were so helpful and didn't waste any time and overall did an amazing job. However, they had an issue getting a couch out of our basement and ended up putting a hole in the stairwell wall (see picture). When I called customer service 2 days later, they said that since we hadn't pointed out the hole to the movers, that they wouldn't cover the repairs of the hole (even though I didn't sign anything or ever receive notice that I was supposed to notify the movers of any damage). When I'm spending $1400+ on movers, I would think that it would be good business practice to take care of your customers and pay for what would be a cheap repair ($50-$100 at most). Now, they have lost my recommendation, even though the actual movers did a good job.
The move was great - the folks were very friendly and timely, very conscientious. The only issue I had was that I had to move my things via a crate vs a truckload - as I moved into NYC and it needed to go into a smaller load. When you put items in a crate, things get beat around much more and are not treated with care as they should be. They can be thrown into the crate. As such, I had several boxes break and hence broke many fragile items.
That being said, this seems to be an issue for crate-related moves I'm told - not just with this company. I was told this by one of the movers himself.
