First of all Armstrong Relocation didn't even bother to call to give me a time to expect the movers. Then when I called them, they gave me a time but then the movers proceeded to arrive hours late and didn't provide a courtesy call to let me know they were running late. They took over 6 hrs. to load a 3,000 pound move (which was supposed to take 3 hrs. max) and even sent me completely inexperienced movers! The 2 young adult boys that arrived with ONE experienced mover even told me they had NEVER moved anyone ever before!!! Sure enough, many of my items arrived broken due to the inexperienced movers being involved with packing up some of my belongings. I've requested that I receive a discount on the total moving cost since they charged me a premium price and provided substandard service. They claim since they showed up on the date promised to move me and delivered my items on the promised date, that was their obligation to me...period. They could have at the very least offered a gesture of good will of some sort.....but no....nothing! I just want people to know that when mover sales reps arrive at your house and claim that only experienced movers will be involved with your move, maybe ask them... if inexperienced movers come instead .... will a discounted price be offered? If I had known that they were going to send me young boys that had never moved anyone ever before, I would have moved with another company for sure!
