John was my sales associate and he was wonderful over the phone. As well as the guys who picked up my shipment, they were also great. The trouble I have is when the truck showed up to deliver to my new house (I moved from Los Angeles CA to Fort Walton Beach Fl), nobody showed up to take it off of the truck, it was only the two men driving the truck and they told me they do not unload the shipments, only drive them, I understand that.
So for an hour, they sat in their truck outside of my neighborhood waiting for guys to show up to unload, then one of them told me I needed to call people to help me if I wanted to get my stuff. I believe his words were "you say you work on the air force base, get all of those guys to help you." Yes, I work on an air force base, I am brand new there and I don't know anybody yet. After a while, I scrambled for phone numbers of people I barely new and I found two that agreed to help.
Also, I had to pay extra because the truck could not make it into my neighborhood. There should be a system where someone surveys the area to see if the truck can actually make it up to the house. The driver thought they were delivering to a storage unit when they were delivering to a townhouse. While part of the service I paid for included a couple guys to unload the truck and take things into my house, they never showed up so I called people from work to help me.
So, I paid extra for a "longer haul" and then I hauled it myself. I have 3 phone calls into the company on rectifying this, as I paid in full to the truck drivers upon their departure. The company keeps saying that they will call me back about the situation and they never do, it has been over a month now.
