I had a great experience with Oasis Moving! Though it wasn't a long distance move, I was thrilled with the service I received. Obviously moving house is a big thing for many people it can be quite an emotional time so what made it such a great experience for me was that the movers and anyone I spoke to from Oasis Moving seemed to understand and take this into consideration! I really appreciated that. They helped me pack the boxes for me which I would definitely recommend for others as they know exactly what should be packed together. Their timing was perfect, pricing very reasonable. Overall I couldn't fault the company at all! If you're looking to move soon, choose these guys!

I had an excellent experience with Oasis Moving. I don't understand why there are some negative reviews. They were recommended to me by a friend and I was not disappointed that's for sure. They were very timely, accommodating and efficient from start to finish. I was given a quote when I called them and the lady on the phone not only provided me with a very reasonable quote, but also talked me through the whole process, timing etc. The guys that picked up my belongings were well presented and very professional. I couldn't fault them if I tried. I would definitely recommend this company to others in the future.

When it got close to moving they would not give me a time for pickup. Got it the day of. So I could not make travels in advance which costs me substantial more. When they did show up (late) the window I was given was noon to 3:00 pm. They should up at 5:00 pm

Then they said they couldn't move me after all and they would have to come back the next day. I said no. So they said I would have to pay more (almost $600 more).

When they delivered they wanted to bring it by at 10:00 pm. NO and it was my fathers funeral on Sat. But finally agreed to 6:00 am. They did show up close to that time but I am missing a box, they broke my dresser and damaged an ironing board.

Worst experience EVERby Angela M.

Make sure you read the contract when it comes to delivery dates. My son's furniture was picked up on July 17 from Flagstaff, AZ, and it just arrived in Connecticut today (over a month later). We were told to pick a delivery date, which we did, August 1st, but it wasn't even on a truck from Las Vegas until August 7th. On August 1st I was told that the contract states Oasis has 21 BUSINESS days to deliver furniture from first date we had chosen. They charged extra for packing materials, but I must admit they did a great job packing up the furniture. Then we were supposed to get a call the day before delivery, but instead, my son got a call 15 minutes, yes that's minutes, before delivery! He had to leave a brand new job to go to his apartment to accept the furniture. Not a good way to start a job. Then the huge truck could not fit in the driveway so they charged extra walking the furniture over 70 feet! The driver had the nerve to ask if he was going to get a $200 tip because the furniture was so heavy. Don't use Oasis Moving & Storage. We learned the hard way and will never use them again. We used Angie's List to hire someone to move his vehicle and that was the best experience ever. Will use Angie's List again if we have to do this again.

PLEASE READ AND LEARN FROM OUR VERY UNFORTUNATE EXPERIENCE BEFORE SIGNING WITH THIS COMPANY! I guarantee...you will change your mind.

Much like so many other posts, I so very much regret not taking others' reviews to heart. I fell in love with the quote, fell for the lines given by Brain Bevan, and made the most horrible, money costing mistake I have EVER made. Our experience with Oasis has left me sick to my stomach with most of our belongings broken to the point of now being trash.
We needed a moving company for our move from CA to FL. After several quotes and conversations with a variety of companies, we chose to go with Oasis. In order to make this to the point (as this IS a long story), I am numbering the events....
1. Upon booking my husband stated that our belongings could be picked up ANY time in the month of June, but we needed it all delivered sometime during the week of June 29th. Brian Bevan told us that "there are several trucks going to Texas and Florida these days, so it should only take 7-10 business days, no problem. In order to have things to you by the end of the month, let's set up for the 19th or 21st." My husband agreed, and asked for notification of the day as we would have to take off work. The date became the 19th, and we both took a day off work to be home. On the 19th we were notified that the date would be the 21st (had to cancel Father's Day plans with the family we were saying goodbye to in CA, but fine...we can roll with the punches). On the 21st, we were then notified the date would be the 22nd!!! A day taken off work, big family plans cancelled, but what could we do?
2. On the 22nd our belongings were picked up. We were then told that they would have to add $500 to the cost due to needing more space! Now...when we have Brian Bevan our inventory list, we estimated well over what we had (stated our 70+ boxes were large when they were medium). My husband also called Brian several times to question his listing of my son's trundle bed as a "twin bed". My husband was told as long as it is listed as a bed, it's fine. Well, guess what...the movers were surprised by the trundle! I do have to say, aside from being the bearers of additional costs, the two lovers were nice. This was the last respect we ever received from this company.
3. Our belongings left for Vegas, and sat there for 3 1/2 weeks! We called several times, and three times we were told "next week it's due to leave", but nope! That next week would come, we would have to call several times to finally get someone (Jason, the manager of "customer service"(HA!!!)) is the absolute worst at getting back to you. There was actually one time I called him, asked where our things were, he transferred me to dispatch where the phone just rang nonstop (this was also quite common), so I called Jason back. No answer!
4. Our belongings finally arrive, and EVERY single piece of furniture is broken (kitchen chairs' legs split and in pieces, son's dresser broken and scratched to heck, plant stand missing the bottom shelf and broken, antique pedestal table broken, armoire shelf broken). Our big screen TV (packed carefully in a TV box labeled with arrows of how to handle it) was shattered, boxes were completely smashed in and/or broken (China broken, wine glasses broken, pictures broken, cake pans broken, platters and vases broken, dinner plates broken, mugs broken. My husband's mountain bike's wheel had been taken off (???) and was missing, along with his brakes being broken. Our son's tricycle broken. Golf clubs had been tampered with, roasting pan broken....the list goes on and on. Our clothes made it alright, although I have been spending all my time doing laundry as almost every box had major holes in them, and I have no idea what our clothes came in contact with during this whole ordeal.
SOoo...we paid a lot of money (extra money due to their horrible estimate) to have our clothes shipped to FL.
Their customer service is horrible. Their dependability is nonexistent, and their care for YOUR belongs is a load of you know what. Whatever you do...go with a company whose estimate may be higher. You'll be paying it to Oasis anyway after their extra charges and having to replace everything they carelessly broke. We will be filing a claim. I will update with how that goes, but after over a month of their sheer unprofessionalism, my hopes remain quite low. DON'T DO IT!!!! Save your sanity and your personal items! Look elsewhere!

Forged documents to win charge backby Jared G.

After a poor performance on the move its self, these crooks charged me an extra 989 dollars to releases my stuff. My move was based on weight, they couldn't prove the weight with a post pick up weight ticket (they had a pre pick up weight ticket). After 7 calls to customer service I was forced to charge back through my credit card. My credit card awarded me my money back. Oasis moving provided my credit card company with a copy of the invoice i signed. With one difference, they wrote right over the total price, and filled in a section that was blank with a higher price. I had the original invoice copies to prove they forged them. The seriously just scribbled over the price and wrote a new one. All the other price had my initials and their new one didn't they didn't even try to make it look passable. So not only did they try and screw me out of $989 dollars, they literally committed a crime to try and keep the money they shouldn't have charged in the first place.

Worst experience we have ever had with any serviceby Emily O.

Worst experience all around- unbelievably rude, unorganized and dishonest about timing. Stay away from using them. My husband and I have been sleeping on the floor for 3 nights and have been sitting in our apartment all morning waiting for our stuff to arrive like promised and we finally had to call them to find out that our stuff can't come until tomorrow- they couldn't give us any kind of accurate estimate weeks ago and when we called their dispatcher was incredibly rude. They nickel and dime you for every step they take and I don't know how else to put it other than they just suck.

I HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER. (Moved first week of Feb). I see that some others did not have a good experience, that surprises me. I had another company working up a contract but they had dropped the ball on communicating with me over a couple of days (reputable company). In the meantime I get a call from these people (I had submitted a request online for movers to contact me). On the first phone call, they had a new estimate prepared and emailed to me. I paid the deposit, e-signed the new contract within an hour and it was a done deal. (They really worked with me since they knew I didn’t have much time to schedule it all, I had to get-a-move-on so-to-speak, LOL.) They even took the extra time to arrange everything with my storage facility for pickup, and they gave me accommodating dates for pickup. Pickup was on-time, thorough and efficient. The guys were friendly and knew their job… they were also very helpful to me on odd stuff I didn’t know how to pack. Delivery was thorough and efficient, the driver and helper were really nice, respectful of me and my property (boxes and my new home) and didn’t waste any time. The only thing I could say that was slightly negative would be that some of my boxes were slightly crunched on corners but I was smart enough to expect that and didn’t pack anything breakable in those areas of the boxes, it was not a problem – especially considering the boxes travelled all the way across the country (literally). The delivery driver was great about keeping me up to date on the road and letting me know when they were nearby so I could meet them at the house. MY GRANDMOTHERS’ PRECIOUS ROCKING CHAIR WAS HANDLED WITH THE UTMOST CARE AND MY EXPENSIVE BIKE ARRIVED WITHOUT A SCRATCH (everything else was boxed). I HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE ALL THE WAY THROUGH! OH, AND THEY BEAT EVERYONE ELSE’S PRICE ON TOP OF THE GREAT SERVICE! I spoke to the same two people every time, Daniel who arranged the whole thing and Dotty who coordinated the logistics. This made me feel at ease that I wasn’t going to be passed around to whomever picked up the phone at some outsourced phone room. I never had to repeat the details of my contract, they knew exactly what the plan was and at what stage it was in at any given time. I WOULD DEFINITELY USE THESE GUYS AGAIN, but I hope never to move again just because I hate moving.

Refused service, wont refund depositby Amal K.

Oasis took 10% deposit, but refused to deliver the services. Now they also refuse to refund the deposit. Oasis provided me a quotation to move my household goods for $7192. They also assured me in writing that this price will not increase, unless the weight of the shipment turns out to be more than 14600 lb. Accordingly, we signed a contract and I paid them 10% deposit of $719, with my Amex card (I have started a dispute with Amex, which Oasis has rejected). On the day of the move, they refused to move my household unless I paid an extra $3000 (total of $10192). When I refused, they offered the total price of $9600. When I still refused, they said they will call me back. Before they called me back, their driver came and declared that he is going back to Nevada. Oasis, out of their own will, decided to not deliver the services. However, in their reply to Amex, Oasis falsely claimed that I canceled the service. I did NOT cancel the service. Oasis refused to provide the agreed service at the agreed price, and that was at their sole discretion.
