L&J Moving and Storage Reviews - 7
Excellent service. Kyle came on a Saturday (day off) to give us an estimate. Revised it with mo problem when needed. Michelle Mink was excellent and kind and aware of my needs. Had to change moving date because of Hurricane Matthew and was told "NO PROBLEM".Moved date one week. Lenny, Mike and Skylar arrived in NJ on time and loaded the truck. Great job! Lenny and Skylar arrived in South Carolina on schedule and on time. Put everything in the right room and worked nonstop to make thing easy for us. Would use you again, however I never intend to move again. The phone calls that were made to make sure everything was going as planned were very helpful.
If it's perfection with courtesy, accuracy and caring for your items as if it were their own then, L & J Moving and Storage is the moving company you want for your next move.
From the Estimate to the final item being brought off the truck you won't find a more thorough and considerate group of people.
Our move went seamless and could have only been completed by accomplished professionals from packing our home into a box to offloading it at our new location. Our Move Coordinator Michelle was on top of every aspect along with Kyle our Estimator.
The driver Jay, and the men physically doing the moving were extremely careful loading and offloading our items, making sure that no furniture was damaged in transit and all walls and doorways were protected when moving. They all were in good humor and enjoyed their work making sure every step of the way we were satisfied.
I suppose I could write another 1000 or so words of accolades but I think I've made my point.
Thank you to Kyle, Michelle, and Jay and L & J Moving and Storage for taking the stress and worry from a usually stressful process.
This move was new to my wife and I. We (in the past) used friends to help load their pick up trucks and or rent a truck to get the task done. With sore backs and some damage to the walls we managed to complete the task. However this time we hired L&J (North American Van Lines). From the start of the quoting process of 3 men for 4 hours (by a very friendly estimator) to the excellent actual move itself (that took 3 men 4 hours) by very was exactly as quoted. The time in between the quote and the move was overseen by Missy Burnmeister. She called to asked if we had any questions before the move, during the move and after the move. The three men that actually moved the furniture and approx. 75 boxes were all very strong energetic friendly men. I will recommend this company to everyone that is considering moving.
It all started with Ryan who came out to do an estimate. The company sent an email confirmation along with a picture of Ryan. It is nice to know who is coming to your door. I also received a phone call the night before confirming the estimate even though this was on a holiday (Labor Day). Not all companies do this. Ryan's estimate was right on the money. The company does frequent calls to make sure everything is set up. Michelle was always there to answer our questions. The packers arrived (Sarah, Zabatu and Gene) very professional and organized. Sarah focused on the kitchen, and the guys spread out packing and organizing everything. As I am unpacking my kitchen stuff I wished Sarah was there to put everything back in place. This makes it so much easier for the guys in the am to load up the truck. In the morning we received a courtesy call and then the big truck pulled up and the guys went right to work. Even as I am giving them a tour of the house and what needs packed they wasted no time and started carrying boxes up and down with the walk thru. Steve which they call him by his last name Cole (Driver), Kenny, Henry, Dave loaded up the big truck carefully. They had a great sense of humor and worked well as team. The key is that they really communicated well together. Cole kept everyone organized but Henry was the motivator of the group. He was always coaching and helping Kenny and Dave with lifting. When it came to unloading the only big issue was where do we park the truck? The side road did not allow commercial trucks and front road was busy. Cole called and talked to the constable and local officials and decided to unload in the front. We had a flagger to help direct traffic. No car incidents. That was good. This is our third move using North American services and L and J in Pottstown assisted with this move. I highly recommend them. Thanks again! Now the hard part is unpacking everything and getting organized.
I had the opportunity to compare two companies for this move. L&J was fantastic! 200% fantastic. Everything arrived perfectly. The people were highly professional from the beginning.
The furniture was packed properly and carefully. They handled everything professionally and like it was their own.
Ryan Graver who was our moving consultant was wonderful! He was so helpful and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. When the movers came that Friday, they were early, quick and very friendly. They were honest and gave us details regarding how our things would be moved. The only problem we came into was the miscommunication with pricing. The lady one the phone for the company (Chris) said the price Ryan gave us was the exact price we would be charged; however Ryan had told us this was an estimate. We were able to quickly resolve this miscommunication and was given a fair price for moving our things out West.
