DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE. I made my commercial move with Hilldrup Moving and Storage in February of 2014 and all in all the move itself went okay. After I was moved back into my space I discovered a few broken and missing items. Within 2 days I contacted the local Hilldrup office to make them aware of the situation and asked for instructions on how to proceed in order to submit a claim to get reimbursed. After sending numerous emails to the local manager requesting updates, after numerous unfulfilled promises from the local manager, after unanswered phone calls, and 6 months later I reached the end of my rope. I finally contacted the corporate office to attempt to resolve this issue. I spoke with 3 different people in their claims department and finally I was told that the local manager never initiated the claim. I finally received a check to settle my claim after a few days of contacting the corporate office. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of communication and lack of professionalism of the local manager. There was no consideration to me or my business. I would NEVER recommend Hilldrup Moving and Storage to anyone. Be forewarned!
