I could go on forever, but four years after my move I still suffer the consequences of ever letting these people touch my belongings.
I don't want to go into details, because reliving this excruciatingly painful event in my life just hurts too bad.
Lost (stolen?) items, broken items, overcharges (he held my belongings "ransom" while storing them -- he kept asking for more money, even though we had agreed to a price for storage), the saga goes on. To this day, I still discover items that he lost.
Six months after my move, I got a call from a woman on the other side of the country. She was unfortunate enough to have DT move her things, and when she was unpacking, she found a box of MY stuff in her things. She was nice enough to dig through it, find my name on an item, track me down, and mail my box to me.
There was not tagging of items/boxes, no logging of anything, no accountability at all.
Do yourself a HUGE favor and avoid DT's Quick Move like the plague they are. Someone should do the world a favor and shut this company down before they spread any more pain and suffering.
