I moved from Marshall, TX to Pensacola, FL. During my search for a mover, Shane Head came to my home to discuss items being moved, the move process, and Superior Movers. It was a pleasant meeting, he assured me that they could take down and put my bedroom furniture up at my new home (I was worried about this piece of furniture--it's huge with bottom pedestal, mirrored headboard, and side towers), we discussed insurance to cover my belongings during the move since I would be between home owners policies, and we discussed how the move would be handled. I opted to take optional Cargo Insurance from Superior Movers to cover items being moved, this was a replacement policy for any damaged items. During the move a large storage cabinet was completely destroyed. Rub/scrape damage occurred to a large desk. Damage was done to the bottom of my bed room dresser and to the bottom of a wooden book case. A drawer pull was busted off of one of my bedroom suite's drawers. There were several other smaller damages to miscellaneous household items, but I've let that go. My furniture was not pristine but it was in very good condition, and as a matter of fact one of the movers in Marshall commented how nicely kept my furniture was. I felt as though I had done a very good job preparing for the moving and I had packed things extra careful so they would not sustain damage. Everything was packed and ready to go. Again, positive comments from the movers how organized it was.

The Superior Mover employees showed very little care for my property. Boxes marked fragile/glass or d├ęcor/fragile or dishes or this end up, etc. were not treated any differently than a 50 lb box of paper which was stacked on top and flipped around. There were nicks on the door frames at the Marshall, TX home because the movers wanted to push large items that should have gone through the back French doors, but that would have taken extra steps. However, I pointed this out to them several times. I found several screws, washers, and other small pieces of hardware to furniture taken apart on the floor and gave them to the movers but it didn't seem to be a concern.

Delivery occurred with the same driver from the Marshall, TX move out, but the company hired local help. The driver was my supervisor on the job. Delivery of the items showed the neglect of handling. The movers were unable to put the furniture back together. I assisted so that TV stand and queen bed would be reassembled. My bed set did not have all of the hardware installed because there were missing pieces and it was not put back together square. Not one of the drawers were installed correctly into their tracks. So many items were brought in pieces or in shambles and crushed due to excessive weight placed on top of the items.

At no time, did either moving or delivery crew take any responsibility for what should have been their job. The professionalism shown to me as a customer was horrible. The driver cussing and carrying on that he shouldn't have to put together furniture and he didn't know how. I feel a company with an A+ rating should have provided better service, that's why I spent $5,767, an extra $1500 to use Superior because I was convinced they would provide quality. Mistakes happen accidents occur, but this was neglect and lack of concern by Superior Mover employees.

I did a lot of pushing and Superior Movers provided a furniture repair person to take apart and reassemble my bed and fix the desk, dresser and book case. I was satisfied with that work as repair, and do not seek replacement value. However, after much back and forth trying to finalize and 8 months I still do not have replacement for the large cabinet and I have a broken bedroom pedestal bed drawer. They self insured and I get one excuse after another of why they can't take care of the claim.

MOST DREADFUL COMPANY EVER!by Nelly B.

THIS WAS THE MOST DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD WITH ANY BUSINESS! I HIRED THEM THROUGH "MOVING STAFFERS" (RECOMMENDED BY ABF-U-PACK, WHO ARE GREAT) SO I TRUSTED THEM.
THEY WERE 2.5 HRS LATE (EVERY CALL I MADE,"WE'RE ON OUR WAY"). TWO GUYS SHOWED UP. ONE WAS OK, BUT SPENT MOST OF HIS TIME IN THE TRUCK "ORGANIZING." THE 2ND WAS SLOPPY & UNPROFESSIONAL (A FRIEND HE'D SNAGGED WHEN THE ASSIGNED CREW NEVER SHOWED). LOTS & LOTS OF DAMAGE. DRAGGED THINGS UP STAIRS W/OUT LIFTING, NO FLOOR PROTECTIONS LIKE BLANKETS, CARDBOARD, ETC EVEN THO' I MADE IT AVAILABLE. I TOLD THEM ONE PIECE (AN OAK HUTCH) WAS VERY EXPENSIVE - I THEN SAW THEM DRAGGING IT ACROSS THE HARDWOOD FLOORS! WHEN I OBJECTED, THEY SAID, "IT'S HEAVY." YEAH, THAT'S WHY I PAID FOR "PROFESSIONALS" TO DO THE JOB. THEY HAD A FLAT DOLLEY, AND I HAD AN UPRIGHT ONE, BUT THEY DIDN'T USE THEM - THEY SEEMED TO THINK DRAGGING & BOUNCING & BANGING WAS A BETTER SYSTEM.
I HAD MATTRESS COVER THAT THE JERK DID NOT EVEN PUT ON UNTIL AFTER HE'D DRAGGED IT ACROSS THE FLOOR (KIND OF MISSED THE POINT!). HE WASTED TIME HAULING UP THINGS I'D SPECIFICALLY SET ASIDE, HAD A NOTE ON, AND HAD TOLD HIM WERE not TO BE LOADED ....
BASEMENT STAIRS WERE DAMAGED AS THEY BANGED THINGS UP. LARGE CHUNKS OF PAINT THAT CAME OFF WERE OUTSIDE THE DOOR IN MY YARD!
WHEN I CALLED THE COMPANY, THEY NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE AND IT TOOK AT LEAST 3 MSGS BEFORE I SPOKE WITH THE "OWNER." I EXPLAINED MY CONCERNS, SAID I HAD PHOTOS OF THE STAIR DAMAGE, & HE MUMBLED ABOUT GETTING AN EMAIL ADDRESS FOR ME TO SEND THEM. WE'RE "DISCONNECTED" AND DESPITE 2 MORE CALLS (OF COURSE, TO VOICE MAIL) HE NEVER RETURNED MY CALL.
DAYS LATER I CONNECTED W/ "MOVING STAFFERS" WHO FOLLOWED UP. HE FLAT-OUT LIED TO THEM THAT HE'D GONE TO THE HOUSE, SEEN THE DAMAGE,AND IT WAS "OLD." SINCE I'D ALREADY LEFT TOWN AND THE HOUSE IS LOCKED ... REALLY? MOVING STAFFERS WAS SO EMBARRASSED THEY'VE AGREED TO REPAIR IT.
THIS, OF COURSE, DOES NOTHING FOR THE DAMAGE TO MY FURNITURE AS A RESULT OF THEIR EXTRAORDINARILY BAD PACKING (AND NO, IT WASN'T FROM THE TRUCK DRIVE).
THE WORKERS WERE BAD ENOUGH ,BUT THE ADDED INSULT OF THE OWNER IGNORING THE SITUATION & THEN LYING TO MOVING STAFFERS ... I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY'RE IN BUSINESS. PLEASE, SAVE YOURSELF SO, SO, SO MUCH AGGRAVATION AND AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Id like to respond by saying I don't show any record of us doing business with this customer. we have no record of any contact from moving staffers about this customer. It sounds like we have been confused with someone else. So sorry for your trouble. we did not load this customer
