I called this company on March 11th to set up an appointment for moving. I spoke with Kurt who told gave me a date of 3/20/15 for the move. The very next afternoon I received a phone call from Kurt stating that he couldn't move us on the 20th because he already had another move scheduled. He told me they could do it the 19th or the 21st. I said....okay....the 21st will do. THEN he called me back to tell me they couldn't do it on the 21st because the girl in the office (or whoever she is) had already booked the 21st. SO......I said, okay we will take the 19th. And I asked Kurt if he was going to call me back the next day to tell me the 19th wasn't available? He said NO! He quoted me a price of $125/hour and a $40 fuel surcharge. I specifically asked if there was a minimum and he said....3 hours. I then asked if he thought it would take more than 3 hours and he said, no......there will be 3 men (there were only 2) and they do this every day so I cannot see it taking more than 3 hours. I then said....okay, so if it takes no more than 3 hours we are looking at a total price of $415.00, correct? And Kurt replied.....YES!!!! The movers came on 3/19 and it took them exactly 3 hours. BUT, as you can see from the receipt, our daughter was charged $471 instead of $415. I called Kurt on 3/20 to discuss the discrepancy with him and he became very belligerent. Told me that I should know how long it would take them to move. That really baffled me and then he said he would refund $49 and I agreed. Then before we hung up the phone he said.....you know what? I am NOT going to give you any refund and hung up.
