During our move in May of 2014 we had some furniture damaged. I took pictures and sent them to the owner he stated he didn't think it was possible they made the damage to the two armoires and I stated that I could for 100% sure say they did on one of our armoires and possible not the other due to it was in storage. The movers on two occasions dropped boxes luckily nothing broke, this shows they are very capible of the damage to both armoires. Tommy told me that he would have a person come to the house to see what could be done to make the repairs to keep good standing. there has been no attempt to make the repairs. I have sent emails, text messages, and voice-mails trying to get it resolved. There has been no response to any of them.
After interaction between the BBB and Clark movers they have sincerely apologized for their actions and have come to an acceptable resolution. There were changes within the company and our complaints fell through the cracks. We are told to resolve this they have made changes to ensure that if damages to anyone’s items ever happened or there were complaints from a customer they would be addressed and handled first hand. My overall experience with Clark Movers was a good one, they definitely saved me time, back aches, and sweat. Had the instances of the dropped boxes (no damage caused) and the instances with how our complaints on damages were handled the move would have been a perfectly flawless move. I would recommend using Clark Movers to anyone for the reasons of the movers are very efficient with time and don’t mess around. They will get in, get the job done, and make your life a whole lot easier.
One suggestion I have for anyone moving and for the moving company involved. Have a pre and post inspection of all items with a sign off from yourself and the moving company. That way there can never be a question of what happens throughout the move.
