Out of four movers I solicited a request for a moving quote, they were the only one who responded in a prompt manner. After talking to them, I had no reservations about scheduling my move with them. They were punctual, professional and took great care with all our possessions. I would highly recommend them for your moving needs.

We had an unusual circumstance; we didn't know where we were going until we vacated our old apartment. Deacon stored our possessions overnight and delivered them promptly with a;most no advance notice. We were not penalized for postponing our moving date and the move went perfectly, no damage , no problems. Highly recommended and low cost.
We hired MoveCo in Rochester NY for our move to our new house. They stated that the supervisor needed to be present for the first two hours of the move which cost $131.00/hour for him to be there. The rest of the time for a two man crew was $96.00/hour. I understand why they call him the supervisor because all he did was "supervise" and stand there and watch the other two movers move everything. We paid and extra $35.00/hour for a guy to just stand there and do nothing. They were very good at moving our furniture which included two king size beds and a sectional couch into a colonial two story home. I understand that this was a big job but the moving company quoted us 3-4 hours to move everything and they ended up taking the entire 4 hours and did not move everything. We had to rent a uhaul truck to move the remainder of our stuff. Overall not a good experience and very expensive.
NOTE: (( PRIOR TO THE SERVICE THE PARTY READ AND SIGNED A CLAUSE ON OUR INVOICE STATING WE WOULD PICK AND CHOOSE ITEMS THAT WOULD NOT CONSUME A LOT OF TIME ,AND THAT SOME ITEMS MAY BE LEFT BEHIND FOR A INCOMPLETE MOVE.))
This was a short notice request for a move, in peak moving season. We had a half day time slot available that particular morning , as we had a client scheduled that afternoon. We employ at least a three man crew throught the peak season. The party we were moving also had a budget in mind, so I advised the party that the inventory list would more than likely exceed their budget, and go beyond 4 hrs. They agreed it was a big job. My estimate was 5 1/2 hrs. I suggested in order to keep within their budget,we only take the bigger neccessities, and let them move the rest, to which she agreed. I only charged a 3 man rate for 2 hrs, but was present for the entire 4hr move. I am the owner, 3rd man,and also the truck driver, which in reality I could have charged her for all of my time.
As for "standing there doing nothing", I was packing the truck and doing things that would help to free up the men moving the bigger items. In reality, the entire move would have taken much longer, but I did what I could to keep in her budget.
