Not happy with their service, they did not have the equipment to move my entertainment center, so the driver cancel because he could not complete the job. Know they won't give me my money back because I when online and did the order. I'm not the one that cancel they did and now their keeping my money for no work. it's wrong and a bad business, would not recommend this company to anyone not even my enemy.

I honestly had no issues with my movers. They called me the day of the move and told me that they finished their previous job early and asked if I was ready for them to come and offered to help if I wasn't completely finished getting things packed away. Once the men arrived, both guys were extremely friendly and was able to get my things packed away and to my new place with in an hour and half. I honestly say this was the easiest move I have ever experience and when or if I move again I will call them to move my furniture.

I spoke to Jose who said the movers would arrive between 9-10am, they got there at 11:30am. I had two movers Waz and Elgin. Elgin was nice and quiet but Waz cursed in front if my elderly mother, was arrogant, rude, bossy and blamed me (the customer) for all that went wrong. I had to repeat the same instructions over and over again and he still didnt get it right and blamed me. I have another move coming up soon and will NOT use HomeMovers ever again!!
If I had to be honest, the actual move wasn't great. The two guys that helped me move were really nice but one of them sat out for a while because he said he hurt his foot. Therefore, the move took WAAAAY longer than it should have because then it was just me and the other guy helping me and I am a single mom with a 9 month old baby. Luckily, one of my guy friends came over to help and the movers did not charge for the extra time that it took to move since I was down to only one mover. However, after the move, I discovered they had damaged my 325 lb. couch. When I filed a claim with the company, they only offered $60. Standard Moving liability is $.60 per pound so basically, they only wanted to reimburse me for 100 lbs! I sent them pictures of my couch and even provided them the original receipt of when I bought the couch. They knew where I got it from and had a full description on the couch but it didn't matter. They said they didn't have the store name of the couch so they couldn't verify the weight but the store name was ON THE FREAKIN RECEIPT I SENT THEM!! I emailed them back to tell them that and never heard word back from them! Whats crazy about all of this is that I even weigh over 100 lbs so of course my couch is going to weigh waaaaay more than me. I called and they told me the only way I could get in touch with their claim department is through email. I emailed them several times since then and never heard anything back. Therefore, they are basically trying to screw me out of what they owe. Just know if you use them and they damage your things, they do NOT follow the terms of Standard liability and they will do everything they can to prevent from reimbursing you what they owe. USING THEM JUST ISNT WORTH IT! Attached is a picture of my couch. I'll leave it up to you all to decide whether or not you think my couch weighs more than 100 lbs.
Our move slot was from 7am-9am, they arrived right at 8am. Chad and Edward were very professional and efficient. Despite having to move from a third floor apartment, they moved very quickly without damaging or scratching any of our belongings. The fees were straight forward and reasonable. I would recommend this company to anyone simply because of the service and value I was provided.
We booked this company on 8/19/16. We were quoted at $65 an hour by a person by the name of Miguel. After the move was completed we were told it was now going to be $95 an hour. The total move was going to cost us $800.12 Talking about getting robbed. The only thing missing was the gun!!! Let me explain, the move was just filling the truck from my house to the truck in front of my house. The move should have been completed in half of the time. My wife asked to speak to the owner of this company. His name is Mark. Mark was very disrespectful and downright rude to my wife. I actually heard my wife tell him that we would post a review on him about his VERY POOR Customer Service and about his bait and switch. I actually over heard Mark the owner of this company tell her to post the review then hung up on her. What type of company or owner pulls a bait and switch then tells the customer to post it on line then hangs up on them??
On a positive note...
My wife called this company 9 time and would not be taken advantage of. They dropped the hourly rate to $75 an hour but would not still honor the original quote. I wish I you could see my receipt.
If you hire this company after reading my honest review, then you truly deserve what happens to you.

Thanks for your review, at the time of booking client asked for 2 movers. The day before the move we called the clients and confirmed move which they agreed. In the day of the move clients wife called and asked if it was to late to add another mover for a total of 3 movers cause her husband felt they needed it . I told her due to short noticed we would try since the movers had already left early in the morning. We than explained the new prices to her that it would change from 65hr to 95hr to add another mover and she agreed. Once mover arrived with 3 movers client signed contract with 95hr and 40 service fee. The movers loaded 2 24ft trucks not 1 but 2 . At time of payment client than called office yelling saying that they never agreed i than told her that she did agree and that she signed contract before move and now that all the work is done she is complaining. We did lower our rate to 85hr to help her out .she still was not pleased and we did tel her the extra man has to get paid and could not work for free. All conversation are recorded along with her asking to add a extra mover
were supposed to be there between 11am-2pm. never showed up. Called them at 1:45 pm and was told there was an issue going on with my scheduled truck at their previous stop and they couldnt give me an ETA of when they would arrive, but would come to me next. Never heard back from them until 9:45 pm after they had gone and done another move and asked me if i still needed movers. YES I DID I had already paid them for their service. They made the move from 11PM-2AM... 12 hours later. Terrible movers as well, not careful with furniture nor very helpful. Worst moving service I have ever had and I have used a few.
Today was our third time to use HomeMoversDFW, and I'll call again if I need a move. All moves have been between apartments, in some cases with stairs, or from a rental house to an apartment. I've had three different crews of two movers each. Each time I've been happy. I referred a friend who also had a good experience. The movers work as a team, know what they're doing, and handle items with care...shrink-wrapping, padding, or whatever is necessary to secure the items.
